In the UK, Lafarge’s three UK Business Units (Cement, Aggregates & Concrete and Gypsum) employ over 3,000 people across more than 200 operational UK sites.

We operate a shared service function, mainly based out of our offices in Leicester, which provides support to the above three business units in the areas of Finance, IT, Legal, Tax, Pensions, Payroll and Purchasing.
